Founder and engineer focused on practical applications of AI—from generative engine optimization to conversion intelligence.

Background

I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science at Harvard University, where my research focuses on the practical applications of artificial intelligence. I'm particularly interested in how AI can transform digital marketing, search visibility, and conversion optimization.

My technical background spans full-stack development, data analysis, and machine learning. I've built products using React, TypeScript, Python, and various AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Gemini), with a focus on combining traditional web technologies with modern AI capabilities.

What I'm Building

Optimize Pilot

At Optimize Pilot (Incubated at Harvard Innovation Labs), I'm building AI-powered tools that analyze website data, identify conversion opportunities, and automatically generate and test optimization strategies.

The goal is to make data-driven optimization accessible to companies without dedicated data science teams.

Berry Buckley

As co-founder of Berry Buckley , I lead our generative engine optimization (GEO) practice for professional service companies. As AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews reshape how people discover legal services, we help firms ensure their expertise appears in AI-generated responses.

This work combines traditional SEO principles with new strategies for AI visibility—optimizing content structure, entity relationships, and expertise signals that LLMs use when surfacing recommendations.

I'm exploring the intersection of AI, search, and digital strategy—helping businesses adapt to a world where AI increasingly mediates how their expertise reaches potential customers.

Research Interests

I'm focused on practical applications of AI—specifically, building systems that solve real business problems.

One area is understanding how people use AI to search and discover information. As more users turn to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI tools instead of traditional search engines, businesses need new strategies to ensure their expertise surfaces in AI-generated responses. This is what drives my work in generative engine optimization.

The other is using AI to analyze large amounts of data, identify patterns, create experiments, and implement optimizations automatically. Instead of requiring data science teams to manually review analytics and design tests, AI can process vast amounts of behavioral data, generate hypotheses, and execute optimization strategies at scale. This is the core of what we're building at Optimize Pilot.
